An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to improve space utilization by dispersing air in different directions. An indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises a cabinet(10), a head(20), and a discharging louver unit. The head is rotatably installed at an upper part of the cabinet, and has discharging holes(21,22). The discharging louver unit is located in the head. The cabinet has a blowing unit, a heat exchanger, and a front panel. The opened front surface of the cabinet is sealed by a front inner panel. A head spinning unit rotates the head. The head spinning unit has a head motor. The head motor has a rotating shaft which is directly connected with the head. The rotating shaft of the head motor is passing through the discharging louver unit. |
