The document (500) has layers (505, 510) e.g. external protection layers and opaque layers (515, 520) forming two external faces, where the layers are made of plastic material. One of the layers has a pattern formed partially with an ink e.g. photo chromatic ink, on internal surface, where visual characteristics of the ink vary according to a physical condition of an environment in which the ink is found. An opaque zone is formed between the pattern and one of the external surfaces. The zone partially masks the pattern independent of the condition and visualization point of the document. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a secured document (2) a device for authenticating a secured document, comprising a secured document receiving unit. |
