FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding cellulose-containing material, treating the cellulose-containing material with enzymes, mixing the cellulose-containing material after enzyme treatment in water to obtain an intermediate product with concentration of the cellulose-containing material of at least 3.5 wt %, alkali metal hydroxide of 3.5-7 wt % and zinc oxide, freezing the intermediate product to a solid state and thawing said product.EFFECT: invention enables to achieve good cellulose solubility.
