FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: thread is obtained by extruding a composition through an extrusion head, the composition containing: (a) at least one vinylidene chloride polymer/methyl acrylate interpolymer containing at most about 6 wt % methyl acrylate monomer units in the polymer; and (b) at least about 3 wt % plasticiser, of which at least about 0.5 wt % based on total composition weight is an epoxy plasticiser or a combination thereof with others.
