The present invention relates to a plating method using a laser etching process to a specific nickel plating layer among multiple-layered nickel among surface treatment of material, comprising the steps of: forming a copper plating layer and a semi-bright nickel plating layer on the surface of raw material; forming a glossy nickel plating layer on the semi-bright nickel plating layer; forming a laser etching layer by perfrming a laser etching process to a random graphic on the glossy nickel plating layer; removing contaminants created by the laser etching process and cleansing the surface thereof by cleansing by ultrasonic cleaning and electrolytic degreasing; forming a MP nickel plating layer on the laser etching process; and a chrome plating layer on the MP nickel plating layer. The plating method using a laser etching process does not perform the laser etching process on the surface of material, but perform the laser etching process on the specific nickel plating layer among multiple-layered nickel and then form a common plating layer on the laser etching processed nickel plating layer, thereby, realizing a wanted graphic on a glossy or matt base without degradation of decorativeness, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and the like so as to provide differentiation for a product and use laser intaglio treatment for improving aesthetic sensibility of an outer appearance. |
