Contact lenses for diagnosis of diseases and process for preparing the same

PURPOSE: A contact lens for diagnosing a disease and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to check the occurrence of the disease by diagnosing the change of eye drops with a color shift phenomenon of polydiacetylene. CONSTITUTION: A hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) monomer, an ultraviolet (UV) photoinitiator, and a cross-linking agent are mixed. The mixture is hardened in a tray using UV. A HEMA lens (100) is obtained. The HEMA lens is dipped in a low band gap polymer solution. The low band gap polymer solution is fixed on the surface of the HEMA lens.
