The present invention relates to a camera device for vehicles, comprising: a transfer hole unit formed to be opened towards the rear part of the vehicle; a housing installed at a tail gate of the vehicle by including a latching unit formed to be protruding from the rear part of the transfer hole; a guide block moved forwards and backwards along the transfer hole, turned to the inner/outer part of the housing, and in which the rearward movement is controlled by being hung on the latching unit; a camera mounted on the guide block and filming the rear part of the vehicle while being exposed to the outside of the housing; a driving device providing driving force to move the guide block; a cover installed at the rear part of the housing, upwardly rotated by the guide block, and opening the transfer hole unit; a camera operation button installed inside the vehicle in which a driver seat is positioned; and a controller for moving the guide block to the rear side by driving the driving device when the vehicle drives in reverse or the camera operation button is operated and exposing the camera to the outside of the housing. |
