PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing mechanism for a cover body enabling favorable operational feeling during swing motion of the cover body with a simple configuration of less number of components in the opening and closing mechanism of the cover body wherein the cover body opening and closing of an opening of a body is a swing motion in a double-shaft manner with respect to the body with the opening.SOLUTION: A first fixed taper part 5b fixed on a body 3 is inclined to be nearer to the body 3 with increase of a distance from a first swing shaft A1, and a first movable taper part 6b fixed on a first pinion 6 is inclined to be away from the body 3 with increase of a distance from a second swing shaft A2. A second fixed taper part 7b fixed on the body 3 is inclined to be away from the body 3 with increase of a distance from the first swing shaft A1, and a second movable taper part 8b fixed on a second pinion 8 is inclined to be away from the body 3 with increase of a distance from the second swing shaft A2. During swing motion of a cover body 4, the first fixed taper part 5b and the first movable taper part 8b are always brought into contact with each other, and the second fixed taper part 7b and the second movable taper part 8b are always brought into contact with each other. |
