PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can suppress the decline of display quality due to the occurrence of fringes and compensate for variation in the potential of a pixel electrode due to the effect of parasitic capacitance, and a method of driving the display device.SOLUTION: A data correction unit performs correction such that, a first boundary area, of a first area that is one of areas, includes a first correction pixel supplied with a data signal corresponding to gradation data corrected using a first correction value, and a second correction pixel supplied with a data signal corresponding to gradation data corrected using a second correction value different from the first correction value. |
