PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper body of a disk brake for a vehicle and its method for manufacturing that can enhance air releasing when hydraulic fluid is charged.SOLUTION: In a working part 5a mounted in a side part of a disk rotor 2, two cylinder holes 5d are arranged side by side, and a union hole 10 which communicates a liquid pressure chamber 9 formed at bottom surfaces 5f of the cylinder holes 5d from an outside of the working part 5a, is formed. A fluid passage hole 11, which communicates the liquid pressure chamber 9 and the union hole 10, is formed from an inner peripheral surface of the bottom part of each of the cylinder holes 5d, a communication hole 12 for making the liquid pressure chambers of adjoining cylinder holes 5d communicate with each other via the union hole 10 and the fluid passage hole 11, is formed. An inner wall surface of the fluid passage hole 11 is formed on a tilted surface where a cross-section area of the liquid passage hole gradually becomes smaller from the peripheral wall of the bottom surface side of the cylinder hole 5d toward the union hole 10. |
