PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of achieving a light weight by using a single-twisted cord for a belt reinforcing layer and improving tread separation property while maintaining high-speed durability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a belt layer 7 embedded on an outer circumferential side of a carcass layer 4 in a tread portion 1, and at least two belt reinforcing layers 8 including a reinforcing cord oriented in a tire circumferential direction on an outer circumferential side of the belt layer 7. A single twisted cord 9 comprising a multifilament yarn of organic fibers twisted in a single direction is used for the reinforcing cord of the belt reinforcing layer 8. A ratio of a cord yarn density (number/50 mm) of the belt reinforcing layer 82 at a tread surface side to a cord yarn density (number/50 mm) of the belt reinforcing layer 81 at a belt layer side is set to 0.6 to 0.9; and a product of the cord yarn density (number/50 mm) of the belt reinforcing layer 81 at the belt layer side and the fineness of the single twisted cord 9 (dtex) is set to 105,000 or less. |
