There is provided a method for repairing a leak in a pipe joint (16). At the joint (16) of the two pipes (12,14) there is a gasket (22). The method requires a passage to be formed through the wall of the first pipe (14). A space (43) is then formed in the gasket (22) communicating with the passage. After this, a sealant is injected through the passage into the space (43) thus allowing the fluid to repair the leak. <IMAGE> |
