METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TAPE WOUND ELECTRIC WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tape wound electric wire capable of maintaining tape tension constant to enable tape winding of high quality by using a simple holder in advance to prepare calibration data of tape tension control corresponding to a change in a tape wound diameter when winding a tape around the outer circumference of a running wire material.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a tape wound electric wire feeds out a tape wound around a tape supply reel 18, and winds the fed-out tape 11 around an outer circumference of a running wire material 10. The manufacturing method first uses a holder in advance to measure a relation between a wound diameter of the tape wound around the tape supply reel 18 and tape tension during winding the tape around the wire material in the wound diameter. Then, driving torque of a tape driving device 19 corresponding to the tape wound diameter is set to be calibration data 28 so as to obtain prescribed tape tension to a change in the tape wound diameter, and the tape 11 is wound around the outer circumference of the running wire material 10 with constant tension on the basis of the calibration data.
