PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system having a solar tracking device for tracking the position of the sun by the light-receiving surface of a power generation module, and including a mechanism for preventing storage of heat in the power generation module upon failure of a power converter (power conditioner) for converting a DC current obtained by power generation into an AC current.SOLUTION: In the photovoltaic power generation system, a solar tracking device tracks the position of the sun at a predetermined time interval T1 when a power converter is operating normally, but when the power converter fails and a DC current cannot be converted into an AC current, the solar tracking device does not track the sun or tracks the position of the sun at a time interval T2 longer than T1. |
