PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove an unnecessary coated film from a base body.SOLUTION: A coated film removal device includes: a lift mechanism which lifts or lowers a cylindrical base body, having a coated film formed thereon by an immersion method, while supporting the same to keep the central axis thereof vertical; a columnar body provided vertically below the base body; first and second arms which are provided on the tip of the columnar body in a direction perpendicular to the columnar body, are supported by a support shaft at the center of the pair, are rotatable about the support shaft, and are parallel to each other; a wiping member provided at one end of each of the first and second arms; a push catching part provided at the other end of each of the first and second arms; a rotation mechanism which rotates the columnar body relative to the base body; and a solvent reservoir for storing a solvent to immerse the wiping members in the solvent. When the base body is lowered by the lift mechanism, the lower end of the base body pushes the push catching parts, by which the wiping members are lifted up from the solvent reservoir and are brought into contact with the bottom end and internal and external surfaces of the bottom end of the base body, upon which the rotation mechanism rotates to remove the coated film. |
