PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment improvement type fishing bank block, as proactive utilization of timber from thinning, which is: suitable for a harbor structure such as a covering block and a foot protection block to be used in harbor and coastal development works as well as fishing harbor and fishery development works; capable of proactively enhancing algal growth at an early stage after installation; and appropriate for a fishing bank.SOLUTION: An environment improvement type fishing bank block 10 comprises: a concrete block body 12; and plural pieces of timber 14 arranged inside the concrete block body 12. The pieces of timber 14 have spaces W therebetween and are arranged in a manner that exposes at least one edge faces 14a or 14b in a longitudinal direction of respective pieces of timber 14 on side faces of the concrete block body 12. |
