PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing implement whose appearance is not damaged.SOLUTION: A writing implement includes a guide slit 6 formed axially on the rear end side of the shaft cylinder 3, and a slider 8 guided by the guide slit and positioned in the shaft cylinder in a slidable manner and connected by the writing body housed in the shaft cylinder. A clip member 9 is connected to the slider 8 on the outer side of the shaft cylinder 3 via the guide slit 6, and the clip member has a clip ball 9a formed toward the shaft cylinder at a position closer to the connection portion with the slider 8 avoiding the leading end portion 9b. The shaft cylinder 3 has a groove portion (clearance groove) 3a formed across the entire area opposite the moving position of the clip ball 9a, and the groove portion 3a is positioned in the rearer area than the leading end portion 9b of the clip member in a condition in which the clip member is retracted. |
