PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and a process cartridge capable of more securely bringing a storage element contact and a body contact into conduction when a process cartridge is moved in a first attachment direction and a second attachment direction, and is positioned thereby.SOLUTION: In a body contact mechanism 20 included in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus 100, a storage element contact 224 and a body contact 50 are electrically connected to each other by a process cartridge B being inserted into the inside of an apparatus body A along a first attachment direction, and in the electrically connected state, the body contact 50 can be moved in a first movement direction along the first attachment direction, in a second movement direction along a second attachment direction, and in a third movement direction crossing both of the first attachment direction and the second attachment direction. |
