PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for recovering copper oxide from a copper-containing acidic waste liquid capable of recovering copper oxide by treating a copper-containing acidic waste liquid and reducing anion content in the recovered copper oxide.SOLUTION: In a method for recovering copper oxide, a copper-containing acidic waste liquid 1 is added into an alkaline solution 3 having a liquid quantity not less than neutralization equivalent quantity to the copper-containing acidic waste liquid and mixed to form a suspension liquid 4 containing a solid mainly composed of copper oxide, and a solid 5 mainly composed of copper oxide from the suspension liquid 4 is recovered by separation. For the alkaline solution, which is added with the copper-containing acidic waste liquid, a solution of a carbonate of an alkali metal is used. |
