PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an inductor is manufactured by winding a wire around a core of a magnetic material, and since the wire must be passed through a central hole several times, winding of a wire around an annular core, called toroidal core, especially having ideal characteristics is very difficult and thereby automation is impeded.SOLUTION: At first, a wire is wound into a coil and then a filament or strip magnetic material is wound on the outside thereof. Even if the magnetic material is wound while being cut or folded to an easy-to-wind length, magnetic flux transfers to an adjoining magnetic material thus facilitating the manufacture. According to another method, a wire is wound into a coil and then a layer of magnetic material is created on the outer periphery of the underlying coil. |
