PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split cage capable of ensuring integrity of a plurality of cage segments and allowing easy and efficient assembling of a rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A split cage 1 for a rolling bearing comprises cage segments 2, which have a plurality of pockets 24 for accommodating rolling elements and are annularly arranged along a circumference direction. A projection 21c of a first cage segment 2A overlaps an end of a second cage segment 2B adjoining thereto. The projection 21c of the first cage segment 2A and a first column part 23 of the second cage segment 2B are connected by a pin 25 and a hole 26. One end face 21a of a first rim part 21 of the first cage segment 2A and the other end face 21b of the first rim part 21 of the second cage segment 2B are abutted to each other while relative movement in a radial direction is restricted. |
