PURPOSE: An electrophoretic particle, a manufacturing method thereof, and an electrophoretic display device are provided to easily secure the minimum required amount of a surfactant necessary for forming a binder precursor to a particle structure by controlling the charge quantity of the electrophoretic particle by using the mixing ratio of the electropositive surfactant and the electronegative surfactant. CONSTITUTION: An electrophoretic particle (100K) comprises a binder (10) and at least two kinds of surfactants (40A). At least two kinds of surfactants are charged to have different electrical property to each other. At least two kinds of surfactants surround the binder. The charge quantity of the electrophoretic particle is controlled by the mixing ratio of at least two kinds of surfactants. The charge control agent (30) is provided to a binder precursor. |
