The apparatus has a blower volute (1), a separation plenum (2) including a taper (6), a water turbine (7), and a centrifugal ventilation wheel (8). A spray chamber (3) includes a spray tube (10) in its higher part, and an air intake side (4) in its lower part. The water turbine and the spray tube are connected to a heat exchanger (24). The water turbine located in the separation plenum drives the centrifugal ventilation wheel to eliminate water droplets present in upward air flow by centrifugation process. An independent claim is also included for an air conditioning method.
