<p>[Problem] To provide a noise-suppressing device for an impact tool that effectively suppresses noise produced by an impact tool, and to provide an impact tool having the noise-suppressing device for an impact tool. [Solution] In the present invention, a hammer case (20) into which a rotating shaft (25) of a motor (8) is inserted is mounted in front of a housing (2) containing the motor (8), the hammer case being provided with: an output shaft (42) that receives rotation transmitted from the motor and extends from a distal end of the hammer case; and an impacting mechanism (41, 43) for delivering impact to the output shaft. An impact driver noise-suppressing device (4) attached to an impacting driver (1) having a distal-end tool (6) coaxially mounted on the output shaft, the impact driver noise-suppressing device (4) suppressing noise produced when an impact is delivered to the output shaft by the impacting mechanisms, is provided with a cover member (51) for covering the hammer case from the front, a spring-receiving member (52) integrated with the distal-end tool in the axial direction thereof in a state where the distal-end tool has been slidably mounted on the output shaft in the axial direction thereof, and a coil spring (53) disposed between the cover member and the spring receiving member in the axial direction of the distal-end tool.</p> |
