PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically observe data on buses to which many integrated circuits are connected by including integrated circuits, which are connected by an address bus, a data bus, and a control bus, a data bus monitor device connected to one of the address bus and data bus, and the control bus, and a test bus control unit which controls it. SOLUTION: Two integrated circuits IC1-10 and IC2-12 are connected by a address bus 14, data bus 16, and control bus 18. A 1st data bus monitor DBM 1-20 is connected to the control bus 18 and is further connected to the data bus 16. A 2nd data bus monitor DBM 2-22 is connected to the control bus 18 and also connected to the address bus 14. The DBMs 20 and 22 observe the buses 14 to 18 connected between the two integrated circuit 10 and 12 and test them. A test bus controller 25 is able to control the shift of data which pass through the DBMs (and other devices). |
