PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suppress the generation of any crack, and to easily confirm the generation of the crack without imposing the labor of the attachment or weldment of a side plate.SOLUTION: The rail for crane includes a rail body 1 constituted of: a head 11 at an upper end; an abdominal part 12 extended in a vertical direction with width which is narrower than that of the head 11; and a bottom part 13 continued to the lower end of the abdominal part 12 at the center with width which becomes wide. The rate of thickness t of the abdominal part 12 to height A of the rail body 1 is set so as to be 0.3 to 0.4.
