<p>The device (100) has a transmission mechanism whose transmission portion transmits exerted releasing force to a locking mechanism. Inclined passive actuation regions at first end portion of transmission portion are cooperated with inclined active actuation regions of a release operating element (145) of a release mechanism while second end portion is cooperated with locking mechanism. The active and passive actuation regions are slid with each other, and moved in opposing directions, so that transmission portion is longitudinally moved to release the locking mechanism. The device has a hand-operated lever (110) that is pivotally mounted on a base (200). A handle portion (120) is arranged at one end of lever. A locking mechanism is provided to hold the lever in a vehicle parking position. The release mechanism having release operating element is partially accommodated in the handle portion to unlock the lever, if a releasing force is applied in release operating elements. The transmission mechanism is provided to connect release mechanism and locking mechanism.</p> |
