Abstract Process for liquefaction of a hydrocarbon-rich fraction A process is described for liquefaction of a hydrocarbon rich fraction, in particular natural gas. The process has according to the invention the following process steps: a) removal (10) of components which are unwanted in the subsequent liquefaction (11) such as acid gases, water and/or mercury from the hydrocarbon-rich fraction (1) which is to be liquefied, where this process step is only implemented when the hydrocarbon-rich fraction which is to be liquefied contains unwanted components, b) liquefaction (11) of the pretreated hydrocarbon-rich fraction (2) with the use of at least one mixed cycle (8, 9), c) separation (12) of the liquefied hydrocarbon-rich fraction (3) into a methane-rich liquid fraction (LNG) (4) and a combustion gas fraction (5) containing essentially nitrogen and methane and d) steam generation (13) with use of the combustion gas fraction (5), e) wherein the steam (6) which is generated is used in at least one condensation steam turbine and f) wherein by means of the condensation steam turbine(s) the compressor or at least one of the compressors (14) of the mixed cycle or at least one mixed cycle (8, 9) is driven. |
