The present invention provides a method and a reactor for removing organic matter by enzyme electrode coupled electric flocculation. In the method, the same electrochemical system in combination with an enzyme-modified electrode and electric flocculation synergistically removes organic matter in water; certain electrochemical parameters are controlled, so that polymerization reaction is performed on hydrogen peroxide generated by cathode reaction and an enzyme electrode-catalyzed organic matter; after the reaction an organic product enters an anode chamber through a pump; the organic product and different electric flocculation hydrolysate are precipitated and removed through compression of double electric layer, adsorption electric neutralization, precipitation netting capture and other coagulating/flocculating effect; and ultimately, the aim of removing the organic matter through cathode enzyme catalytic polymerization and anode electric flocculation synergistically is achieved. The method and the reactor have a good selectivity for low-concentration toxic organic pollutant and a good effect in removing small-molecular hydrophilic organic matter; the enzyme amount is low; the cathode and the anode are fully used; the cost is reduced; the operation is simple; the application is wide; therefore, the method and the reactor are applicable to a variety of water and wastewater containing organic matter and contaminated water. |
