PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with a wound electrode body with an excellent volume energy density at high productivity.SOLUTION: A battery comprises a wound electrode body having a separator overlapping region in which three or more separators are overlapped on an outermost periphery. When a separator wound around the outermost periphery of the separator overlapping region is a first separator, a separator on an inner side than the first separator by one cycle is a second separator, and a separator on an inner side than the second separator by one cycle is a third separator, a hole is provided on the second separator. An adhesive tape or a pasting agent is arranged to cover the hole, and therefore, the third separator, the second separator around the hole and the first separator opposed to the hole are fixed. |
