<p>The present invention discloses an information transmission system comprising a first information transmission subsystem installed at a station and a second information transmission subsystem installed on a train, wherein the first information transmission subsystem and the second information transmission subsystem are constructed in such a way that at least one wireless connection is established when said train is stopped at said station, and the first information transmission subsystem transmits data information to the second information transmission subsystem via said wireless connection; in addition, the first information transmission subsystem and the second information transmission subsystem are further constructed in such a way that said at least one wireless connection is disconnected when said train leaves from said station. The present invention further discloses an information transmission method. By way of the information transmission system and method of the present invention, the throughput between a train and the infrastructure beside the railway is significantly improved, thereby achieving high speed data transmission services.</p> |
