PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher that can accurately determine an amount of dishes and efficiently operate without being affected by variation in supply voltage, a temperature around the dishwasher, and further variation in a heater.SOLUTION: A control means 70 carries out a preheating step of applying an electric current to a heater 14 without injection of washing water prior to a heat washing step and heating the washing water; and varies an operating hour of a heat rinsing step on the basis of a degree of an increase in a temperature of the washing water in the preheating step detected by a temperature detection means 17 and a degree of an increase in a temperature of the washing water in the heat rinsing step carried out after a rinsing step. As a result, an amount of dishes can be accurately determined and a heating rinse or drying can be efficiently carried out in response to the amount of the dishes without being affected by variation in supply voltage, a temperature around a dishwasher 1, and further variation in the heater 14. |
