PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silk composite nanofiber that can efficiently deposit and grow a useful cell thereon without impairing biodegradable function and cell deposition function of a silk nanofiber and cell deposition function of an inorganic layered compound, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The silk composite nanofiber formed of silk and an inorganic layered compound is produced by immersing a silk nanofiber that is water-insolubilized, into an aqueous solution of the inorganic layered compound to form a thin film of the inorganic layered compound, which is strong against mechanical friction, in a gap between fibers or crossover points of the fibers of the silk nanofiber. |
