PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper in which an outer periphery of a piston rod can be sufficiently protected and degradation in coating workability can be prevented.SOLUTION: A damper includes: a damper body D which has a tubular outer shell 1 and a piston rod 2 which can freely enter and exit the inside of the outer shell 1 and generates a damping force for inhibiting relative movement in an axial direction of the piston rod 2 with respect to the outer shell 1; and a tubular collar 4 which is attached to the outer shell 1 and disposed on an outer periphery of the piston rod 2. |
