[Class 144 (i).] A tractor-wheel tyre 10 is provided with projecting spuds narrower than, and arranged obliquely across, the rim in one or more circumferential rows. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 1, the spuds 18 are detachably bolted to the existing angle-bars 12 and may be rotatable through 90‹ so as to lie flush with the edges of the bars 12. In the case of a plain tyre, the spuds form parts of T- or L-shaped members detachably bolted to the tyre and arranged in two circumferential rows, the spuds in one row being staggered in relation, and slanting in a direction opposite, to those in the other row, as shown.in Fig. 5.
