PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain sealing conditions by a ferrule, and to improve the reliability of sealing performance.SOLUTION: A pipe fitting Ja is equipped with: a cylindrical tightening member 32 to be screwed onto a fitting-body section 16; a ferrule 33 for sealing the interval between the inner circumference of the fitting-body section 16 and the outer circumference of a pipe P in an airtight manner, by receiving a pressing force in the axial direction from the tightening member 32 screwed in the tightening direction; a cylindrical fixing member 66a for configuring the tightening member 32, and imparting a pressing force by contacting the ferrule 33; a tightening nut 36 for configuring the tightening member 32, having a noncircular engaging part 48 formed on the outer circumference thereof, and imparting a pressing force on the fixing member 66a in the direction to the ferrule 33 side, as screwing force in the tightening direction is imparted; and a locking means 41 for restricting a positional shift of the fixing member 66a in the direction for releasing the pressure on the ferrule 33. |
