PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively supply a lubricant to a meshing part where a drive pinion gear and a ring gear are meshed with each other.SOLUTION: A differential device includes: a drive pinion gear 3 rotated by a drive shaft 11; a ring gear 4 meshing with the drive pinion gear 3 so that their axes intersect; a differential mechanism case fixed to the ring gear 4 and housing a pair of side gears 504, 504 therein and a differential mechanism 5 including pinion gears 502, 502 meshing with the side gears; and a housing for housing the drive pinion gear 3, the ring gear 4 and the differential mechanism 5 so that they freely rotate, wherein a lubricant regulating member is provided which maintains a lubricant scraped by rotation of the drive pinion gear 3 in the lower side region 703 of the drive pinion gear 3, the lubricant regulating member being, for example, a first partition plate 701 and a second partition plate 702. |
