PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter of an optical image system, such as a digital camera.SOLUTION: This shutter includes an interface between a transparent body and a capillary space. A light beam introduced to the effective area of the interface is reflected by the total internal reflection when the capillary space is filled with a gas. When the capillary space is filled with a liquid, the introduced light beam transmits through the interface. Thus, in accordance with the state of the shutter, the light beam is absorbed or reflected by an image sensor. The liquid is supplied to the capillary space through at least one duct opposite the effective area. |
