The purpose of the invention is to increase the speed of converting SWF data to data that a mobile terminal can interpret and of displaying the converted data in the mobile terminal. Provided is a mobile terminal having a web browser that can support HTML and JavaScript. The mobile terminal includes a memory that stores a first relationship between HTML data in the vector shape format and a JavaScript function, and a processor that extracts vector-shape-format data expressing the shape from HTML data, that defines a corresponding JavaScript function on the basis of vector-shape-format data which expresses the shape and appeared for the first time, in accordance with the first relationship, and that converts the vector-shape-format data expressing the shape to JavaScript code.
