[Class 53.] Dollies for dry batteries are provided with wrappings of material permeable to the electrolyte, the wrapping of each core being held in place by adhesive means applied only over the outer or exposed longitudinal edge of the wrapping on the lateral surface of each core, and consisting of the same heat liquefiable substance as an insulating centring cap applied to or formed on the lower end of said core. The adhesive means is advantageously a single strip forming a direct continuation of the centring cap. Preferably the wrapping material 3 is only applied about the lateral surface of the core, and is held by a pair of insulating caps 8, 10 of a heat liquefiable substance provided on the uncovered ends of the core and attached to the upper and lower peripheral edges of the wrapping ; the adhesive strip 9 on the longitudinal edge of the wrapping extends between the said caps. |
