The method involves allowing a first vehicle (8) to receive signals (14) emitted by a second vehicle (1), where the signals indicate whether a door (2) of the second vehicle is opened or closed. A warning signal with first intensity i.e. green, is emitted by the first vehicle. The door of the second vehicle is transferred from an open state to a closed state after receiving the warning signal. Another indication is made by the emitted signals whether a turn signal (4) of the second vehicle is set. A warning signal with second intensity i.e. over orange, is emitted by the first vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor car (2) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for generating a warning signal in a first vehicle to inform about a condition of a second vehicle.
