The present invention relates to a method for inspecting a gas leakage on a hold of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier. More specifically, the present invention primarily inspects the gas leakage by decompressing or pressing a first space and a second space of the hold installed in the LNG carrier and finds a position of the gas leakage as a thermo-graphic camera when the leakage of LNG is confirmed by the primary inspection. The present invention repairs the LNG carrier by finding the leakage and the leakage position of the LNG contained in the hold when the LNG carrier is sailing and tried out and after building the LNG carrier is completed.
