An object is to provide a marker that allows specific detection of human IL-17-producing helper T-cells (human Th17 cells). The above problems are solved by a marker for detecting human Th17 cells containing a polynucleotide having a nucleotide sequence of the gene represented by at least one selected from the group consisting of L1CAM, MCAM and PTPRM or a variant or a fragment thereof or a protein encoded by the above gene or a functionally equivalent variant or a fragment thereof.
