The present invention relates to a dynamic voltage compensation system using an energy storage device and a dynamic voltage compensation method. More specifically, a compensation system which compensates a voltage drop for milliseconds or seconds occurred in a system power source or a voltage change due to a momentary power failure and a dynamic voltage compensation method are provided. The dynamic voltage compensation system using an energy storage device, given in the present invention, includes a serial voltage compensation transformer (7) which is connected to a system power source and compensates a power change in the system power source; a switch (6) which is connected to one end of the serial voltage compensation transformer; an output filter (8) which is connected to the other end of the serial voltage compensation transformer and reduces ripples due to high-frequency switching; an inverter (9) which is connected to the output filter and generates an AC voltage for compensating the voltage change; and an energy storage device (10) which supplies a DC voltage for generating the AC voltage of the inverter.
