<p>The data carrier includes a card portion (2) whose surface extends in a plane of card, in which electrical and/or electronic components such as chip module (3) and antenna and/or coil (4) are introduced. A flexible layer (5) is formed on card portion, which extends in the top of plane of card in partial area of card portion. The flexible layer is made of flexible film and/or adhesive layer, through which electrical and/or electronic components are bonded. The electrical and/or electronic components are partially integrated in chip module. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a portable data carrier.</p> |
