The mast lamp (2) has lamp housing (6) for receiving an LED module (16). An optical system is provided for directing emitted light to LED module. The back portion of insert plate is arranged opposite to front portion of insert plate at installed position. The lamp housing is fastened to back portion of insert plate. The LED module is fastened on the front side of insert plate. The insert plate is clamped against the lamp housing by clamping unit removably.
