The carcass structure has structural element (10) that is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic. The cavity (12) is filled with a damping material (14). The damping material is a visco-elastic or a porous foam. The damping material is glued with structural element region (16) of the structural element. The structural element is provided with fiber-reinforced plastic portions (20,22,24,26). An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing carcass structure of motor car.
