<p>The winding machine i.e. cross-winding machine (1), has a work location (2) including a thread tension regulator (17), slub catcher with a measuring head (20) and a waxing device (19). A blower device (40) is arranged on the work location for automatically cleaning the thread tension regulator, measuring head of the slub catcher and/or the waxing device during failure of thread. A blower device (40) is manually triggered on the work location. Control elements i.e. push-buttons (21, 32, 33) is provided on the work location and is formed to trigger an operation of the blower device.</p> |
