The present invention relates to a lid for a cup in which the lid is used for preparation of beverages in the cup, that the lid has a cover portion (1) with a shape corresponding to the shape of the opening of the cup, and that a lip part (5) is integrated with the cover portion (1) in order to achieve detachable connection with the opening of the cup. It is significant for the lid according to the present invention that the lid comprises a down-hanging, stationary, shape permanent receptacle (7) adapted to receive a product in loose weight for brewing beverages, that the receptacle (7) is equipped with perforations (12), that the lid comprises a member (15) which can be inserted into the receptacle (7) in order to close the perforations (12). |
