PURPOSE: A cast steel manufacturing method for a press mold is provided to easily set cast steel with the bottom facing up by cutting a setting hole on an assembly surface of the cast steel, coupling a setting pin to the setting hole, and placing the setting pin in a mounting groove. CONSTITUTION: A cast steel manufacturing method for a press mold comprises the steps of: manufacturing a pattern with a processing margin for pouring molten steel into a mold to make cast steel(10); assembling the cast steel made by the pattern to a base; processing each a setting hole(h1) on each assembly surface(12) of the cast steel; connecting a setting pin(20), which protrudes outside, to the setting hole; setting the cast steel with the bottom(11) facing up using a jig(30) comprising a pair of jig blocks(32), which are erected on a jig plate(31) and have a mounting groove(321) at the top for supporting the setting pin; and grinding the bottom surface of the cast steel set in the jig. |
